About Our PEP Hybrid Program

PEP students will attend school on campus a minimum of 2 days per week, Monday and Tuesday. PEP students can attend more days in person if they would like, but not less. If a holiday falls on either day, we have a calendar with make updates to follow. They will use the same curriculum used for all students which is McGraw Hill our core curriculum used for Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. I-Ready Math and Reading is used for labs during the week as a supplement and for testing three times throughout the year.

PEP students will also be able to participate on Fridays in the morning we offer our drop everything and read. This platform helps us to monitor reading, comprehension progress, and we also use it as an incentive to earn points for our house system. Life skills, debate, current events and financial literacy are other areas of focus.

We offer breakfast and lunch at no cost and the student can select the items that they would like from our menu.

We have fun Fridays after lunch on Fridays which includes our clubs, welcome, art/drawing, raptor representative, Christian, and creative media. For additional academic support we offer our after-school clinics on Monday and Tuesday immediately after school for one hour.

The days that the PEP students are on campus they will join the regular students in classwork and projects, the days that they are not on campus they will continue planned lessons from the same curriculum and their assignments will be graded by the teachers. Attendance and grades will be entered in our FACTS SIS system.

PEP parents will be able to participate in our parent house partners monthly meetings so that all parents are partners with assisting the school in being able to accomplish our mission, vision and core values which are to

  • Bringour youth in.
  • Build our youth up by investing in them.
  • Take the time to equip them for life, by providing the tools that they need.
  • Send them out as productive young men and women.

MEANING BEHIND THE NAME

  • For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc./Reach Academy. has two important meanings. First, if we meet ten youth/adults and can reach one our time was not wasted.
  • Secondly, every youth/adult we reach, that youth/adult will be shown how to go out and reach someone in need, so that we all are growing and contributing.

OUR GOAL

For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc./Reach Academy goal is to make an investment into our youth so that they will have the knowledge that they need to be able to withdraw from for the rest of their life.

PURPOSE

For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc./Reach Academy is winning futures, empowering youth to succeed through mentoring, trusting relationships, unforgettable life lessons, energizing experiences, prevention, and intervention.

CONCEPT

For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc./Reach Academy takes time to show our youth/adults how to fish, so that we do not have to keep fishing for them. This concept allows less people on the sideline and more people to be productive.

Reach Academy offers A New Millennium Education. The Difference between school and LIFE? In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a TEST. In life, you’re given a test that Teaches you a LESSON. We are intentional in making sure that our students not only pass the school test but pass the life test as well. They enter a training platform to equip them for either college, trade school, entrepreneur, employment, military but they all know that doing nothing is not an option.
